About
Open the site and you drop straight into a shared game filling the window: a 50-player, wrap-around arena larger than the screen. Aim your ship with the mouse or by touch, hold to thrust, and fire automatically at rocks that split as you hit them.
The arena is never empty. The server pads it with up to 20 bots that fly like players, and they thin out as real pilots arrive, reaching zero once twenty people are playing.

The realtime game server runs on Gamehoster, at game.asteroids.net.
Sharp on any screen
The canvas follows the window size and the device's pixel ratio, so the picture stays crisp on high-resolution displays.
