PHP Framework

A complete PHP framework for database-backed websites, member areas, admin systems and APIs, assembled from small modules that all share one shape.

About

A site built with the framework is a single, server-rendered PHP application. It is assembled from around one hundred and thirty small, single-concern modules, and an application is simply the list of modules it includes.

The framework is opinionated on purpose. Every module has the same directory layout, declares its database tables the same way, reads its configuration the same way and talks to other modules the same way, so once you have read one module you can find your way around any of them.

Features

Modular by design

Each module owns its data objects, database access, services and user interface, and declares every module it depends on.

One consistent shape

Learn the conventions once and they hold across every module.

In progress

The guide and the module reference are being written now. Worked examples and a download will follow.
